It is with enthusiasm, and awareness of the importance of the challenges we will face, that the Belgian Delegation welcomes you to Brussels for the 63rd General Assembly.
Belgium already had the pleasure of hosting a CIC General Assembly in 1976, where the great issues of hunting at the time were debated. One can immediately recognize that hunting today is quite different than it was forty years ago.
Tony Pouppez de Kettenis, Head of the Belgian CIC Delegation
We are grateful to the Belgian CIC Delegation for hosting the 63rd CIC General Assembly in Brussels, the heart of Europe. Special thanks go to the European Landowners’ Organisation (ELO) team which is greatly assisting in the preparations.
We want to use this opportunity to emphasize our mission for the decision makers of the European Union: “To promote – across the globe – sustainable hunting to conserve wildlife and wild lands, support communities and preserve our hunting heritage.” This is why we chose the motto: “Hunting is Conservation”!
Bernard Lozé, President of the CIC
